OSHO The Body’s Natural Flow: Posture, Breath, and Alignment

LIVE Course on Zoom: 2 weekends – 3 hours each day

Exploring Posture, Gravity, and Movement for Everyday Well-being

Osho course image

This course invites you to explore your body’s natural movements through rhythmic exercises, breathing techniques, and short meditations. Using movement, dance, and creative drawing, you’ll connect with different body structures — muscles, joints, and fascia — to release tension and cultivate freedom in both body and mind.

“…. when your spine is absolutely straight, the effect of the earth’s gravitation on your body is the least. When your spine is even slightly curved, the earth’s gravitational field will pull on a larger area. But if the spine is absolutely upright, the effect of the earth’s gravitation is only on the bottom point of your spine. If your spine is bent in any way, then the pull of gravitation is on your whole spine, and to the same extent there will be stress on your body.“  Osho

The Power of Alignment and Gravity

Gravity acts on the body as a whole, influencing posture and movement. When the body is naturally aligned, forces are distributed efficiently, reducing strain. In this course, you’ll explore gentle, playful movements that allow the body to self-correct, helping the spine return to its natural curves and relieving tension in the shoulders, neck, and lower back.
Body Posture

Through small shifts in posture and alignment, you can experience a sense of lightness and freedom, reducing the perception of being “pulled down.” Simple rhythmic movements, gentle rocking, and stretching techniques will help you deepen your awareness of how the spine relates to gravity, fostering a feeling of centeredness and balance.

"Begin the feeling of wonder with your own body, because that is the closest to you. The closest nature has approached to you, the closest existence has come to you, is through the body. In your body is the water of the oceans, in your body is the fire of the stars and the suns, in your body is the air, your body is made of earth." - Osho
