Global OSHO Meditation Day 7 November 2021

A call to freedom

“Meditation is nothing but a device to make you aware of your real self—which is not created by you, which need not be created by you, which you already are. You are born with it. You are it!”  Osho

Humanity is more in need of meditation than ever before but, traditional methods of meditation, designed for simpler, more relaxed times no longer appeal.

As Osho says “Requirements have changed for this age. In the world of the bullock cart everything moved slowly, so also meditation moved at a slow pace. Now is the jet age; now meditation cannot afford to be slow. It has to pick up speed.”

The OSHO Meditation Day is an opportunity to choose any or all of the techniques from the full range of revolutionary OSHO Meditation techniques especially created for contemporary humanity. Each meditation will be preceded by an introduction to the technique by a certified and experienced facilitator. You will also learn ways to allow meditation to become an easy part of your daily life. This day is a unique opportunity to meditate and celebrate with friends from around the world. You are welcome to organize a space where a group of friends or family can participate with you.

Do you find it difficult to meditate? Do you end up getting into a fight with an army of thoughts tramping through your head? Do you get more and more stuck in trying to “do meditation”? Meditation cannot be done, it is a space of utter relaxation, when all doing has ceased. The OSHO Active Meditations avoid the problem of battling with the mind by withdrawing energy from the mind in various playful ways – making it easier to relax and fall into the space of meditation.

“Meditation is nothing that you do. Meditation is something that you fall in, just like love. Meditation is something in which you can be, but you cannot do it, doing ceases.”   Osho

This full day spent exploring a range of OSHO Meditations, with friends and experienced meditators, will deepen your understanding and empower you on your journey to being a self-sufficient meditator. This approach to meditation – to drop outcomes and self-criticism – brings great joy and well-being allowing you to connect with who you truly are.

I enjoy the Osho meditation day where you can experience a variety of meditations for an entire day ending at the night with celebration. The time set up and schedule of the meditations are organized very nicely with a break in between. You can also join a room of friends during the breaks to share and feel the support. Looking forward to more!!!

"A beautiful day dedicated to discover & experience the inner and the outer with so much fun and love!!"

Meditation Day Team

“Deep down you are not individuals. We belong to each other; we are rooted in one consciousness. So, a group meditation can be a tremendous experience. You start as an individual, but sooner or later you are not there and the group soul has started functioning. When the group soul starts functioning, you have entered the divine. So, don’t remain individuals; that is false, egoistic. Melt into others, and things will start happening to you.” - Osho
