The Feldenkrais Method is based on the understanding that individuals develop and maintain habitual ways of movement that cause stress in the body. This has physical and psychological effects and results in suppressed body awareness. This bodymind split allows imbalance to increase and chronic ill health to become embedded in the system.

Enhancing the vital body mind connection

The combination of the Feldenkrais movements with specially selected awareness techniques, wakes us up to our own lack of body awareness, which is the beginning of the journey to a relaxed flowing bodymind.

  • use body awareness as a doorway to deepen your meditative practice.

OSHO Dynamic, OSHO Kundalini Meditation and the OSHO Evening Meeting are essential parts of any course booked on OIO and if you haven’t already done so, please make sure you have subscribed to iOSHO prior to the course starting. Once subscribed you will be able to do the meditations in the time and place suggested by the facilitator. Currently there is a free, 7-day trial, available. Turiya is an experienced bodymind trainer, Feldenkrais practitioner, hypnotherapist, meditation facilitator and published author who has been working in the field of bodymind integration and meditation for 25 years.

For as long as she can remember, Turiya has been interested in “how one can help oneself feel at home in the body and good in one’s own skin.” This curiosity has been present throughout her life and is reflected in the body awareness and meditation based work called “BodyWareness” which she has developed over the years.
