OSHO Bardo: Moving into death, the deepest mystery of life
LIVE Online Individual Session of 60 or 90 minutes
“Once you accept death as a friend, suddenly a transformation happens. You become transfigured and now your vision has a new quality to it. Now, there is no fight, no war and you are not fighting against anybody. So, now you can relax, now you can be at home. Once death becomes a friend only then does life become a friend. It may look paradoxical but it is so…” Osho
We don’t know what death is, and our fear of death means we spend our lives looking for security in a world where change is the only constant.
OSHO Bardo will guide you into an experience of consciously letting go of the ever-changing contents of your consciousness: thoughts, bodily sensations, emotions, so that you become familiar with that within you which never dies – your witnessing consciousness.
OSHO Bardo is a 45-minute guided meditative process based on Osho’s guidance for dying consciously. Extra time is provided for you to discuss any concerns you have about the process, or about death and dying itself, with the qualified facilitator.
OSHO Bardo can be used by anyone, of any or no religious or spiritual affiliation. It is for:
- Anyone who would like to live and die consciously
- Anyone who would like to be able to relax while remaining present and alert
- Anyone who has a fear around living or dying

- Carers of those who are ill or dying
As a regular practice OSHO Bardo can provide:
- A sense of freshness and rejuvenation

- An ability to be present to the moment, with a sense of openness, love and joy
- A diminishing or even disappearance of fear
- An experiential knowing of yourself as consciousness
- The experience of the truth that everything in life comes and goes
“This is what is meant by meditation: to pass the door of death consciously… Death is always there: it is a door that exists inside you. It is not something that is going to happen in the future, it is not something outside of you that you have to reach, it is inside you, a door.
“Only through death can one have glimpses of eternal life; there is no other way. So really, all that is known as meditation is just a voluntary death, just a deepening inside, a drowning inside, a sinking inside; just a going away from the surface toward the depths.” Osho
Maneesha’s sessions – on meditation, all life-related issues and those around dying – are based on her 47 years’ experience of meditation. In addition, she spent seven years in Osho’s evening meetings (“darshan”), observing and recording his conversations with seekers from all over the world. This unique opportunity provided her with a passion for experimenting with meditative techniques and an invaluable learning in responding to a vast range of issues from a meditative perspective.
The experience of twenty-plus years as an international meditation-based course facilitator continues to broaden her understanding, love, and respect for those she works with.
In addition, as a qualified psychotherapist, she has gained an added awareness of the human psyche, along with skills in creating rapport and supporting her clients in finding their way to clarity and understanding.
Sudheer has been a meditator for 46 years and it shows! At the age of 70 he could pass for 50 and has a gentleness that makes him very relaxing to be around.
His first experience of OSHO Dynamic Meditation, at the age of 24, took him to “the space he was searching for” and he has experimented with all the OSHO meditations and many meditations from The Book of Secrets since.
As a teenager Sudheer was fascinated by the big questions: What is life? What is death? – his favorite book was The Tibetan Book of the Dead, a kind of guide book for the afterlife.
After studying philosophy for a while, he realized that what he was seeking was not to be found in words, so he moved into working closely with people, training as a general and psychiatric nurse.
Sudheer is also trained in Hypnosis, Self-Hypnosis and NLP and is experienced in helping people move into death consciously and joyfully. He is especially interested in using Hypnosis to deepen meditation and to deal with end-of-life issues – he is one of the co-creators of the OSHO Bardo, a popular guided meditative process for everyday use or for preparing for death.
Sudheer also travels the world facilitating meditation courses in such places as Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Spain, the Netherlands and the US.
